Outdoor Learning

Outdoor learning By Adele (Year 6)
Some schools like ours, let their pupils go outside to learn and have fun.  So for children who don't get much fresh air this is a great way to refresh there brain for the rest of the day. There are many different ways to introduce learning outside: outside classroom, wild flower garden and more.
At St Mary's we are planning to change the prayer garden into an outside classroom. We will be able to go outside more often and learn new things in the process. This is only one of the many things we can do while outside learning.
The benefits of introducing more outside learning are: the pupils can get more fresh air and, because they are not in the classroom they might find it a bit more interesting. Instead of sitting down in the classroom, they can run around learn new facts and have  a great time!
We have also been accepted for the Tesco 'Bags of help' token project, the project with the most tokens at the end of August will win £4000.
This is why learning outside is a great idea for children all ages. More schools should introduce this for the children to work better all day.
